These computers are normally added in these bikes genuinely but if you have a bike that is not enabled with a computer then you can easily install a computer on it very easily. Speed Control:The biggest advantage of these bike computers is that they show speed on them. So, you can say that they work as a speed meter as well. If you have installed a computer on your bike then you will see a speed measurement in front of you. With the help of this speed measurement you can easily get to know at which speed you are riding at the moment and what your maximum speed was. This monitor will also tell you about the least speed at which you were riding at any time. There are different other uses of these computers that are described below.

Bike Condition:One of the great features that these bike computers contain is that they can easily tell you about the condition of your bike. They have different sensors installed in different areas of your bike and if there will be any problem in that particular area of your bike then you will be notified on that computer’s monitor. For example; a pressure sensor is used in your tires and they are connected with that computer. Once the air pressure in any of your tire will reach to a minimum level, you will be notified with the help of a beep or an alarm.

GPS Navigation:If you have installed bike computers on your bike and they don’t show GPS navigation then there is no use of that computer. It is better for you to install a new computer system on your bike. There are so many computers available for bikes in the market. You can use any of those computers but if your motive is to use a computer that will show you maps and GPS navigation then you should look for an advanced computer for your bike. These are a few things that you must keep in your mind when you will be looking for a bike computer.

Listening to songs:If you are driving a car and you want to enjoy yourself then what would you want to do? I would want to listen to my favorite songs but what if you are riding on a bike? Do you think that you can listen to your favorite songs while riding on a bike? Well, if you have installed bike computers on your bike then you can do this but if you haven’t installed any such thing on your bike then it will not be possible for you to listen to songs.

5 Stars Sigma BC1606L with rear wheel harness I just bought this item. It includes two harnesses. One for the front wheel and one for the rear wheel. It also includes the optional wired sensor to measure cadence and of course the bike computer itself. I am please with the unit so far and I installed it on the rear wheel of my bike that is on a Kurt Kenetic trainer. It works well for both speed and cadence. Now I can judge the kind of effort I am using and can up my game as time goes on. The only problem was that the install instructions leave a lot to be desired. I figured it out but it took about an hour for the install. The package also does not come with a list of items included in the box either which was a little frustrating. These were not really big problems but Sigma should address them for the future. I recommend this unit to anybody who wants a bike computer with a wire rear wheel sensor.

5 Stars Works Great! We've had this a few weeks. I purchased for my wife's bike so she could use it with the indoor trainer. This was one of the cheapest ones I could find that would work for the rear wheel. It also has the cadence monitor. Pretty easy to understand, not too difficult to set-up. It has a back-light on it, so once you press a button it will light up for a few seconds. Probably could have used a couple more zip-ties with it, but I had some.
